K-Star Thai Boxing Academy is the most established Muay Thai Academy in Birmingham, and has been producing Champion fighters for over 25 years. K-Star (Sheldon) was as established in 2012 and is a partner gym in the K-Star network of Thai Boxing academies. K-Star Sheldon is known for its happy family vibe, members that train hard, respect and support each other, and above all else, have fun.
Our experienced instructors teach a wide range of classes at beginner, intermediate, advanced and fighter levels to both adults and children.

Childrens Classes
We are a family gym and are proud to have a reputation for a really strong childrens program. We provide lessons at Beginners level, Advanced level and Championship level .
Adult Classes
We provide a wide range of lesson for Adults, starting at Beginners Classes, Advanced Classes and Fighters Classes. Browse our Adult Classes for further information.
1 to 1 Classes
We offer 1 to 1 training sessions to all of our registered members for half of the non-members price. 1 to 1’s are available to both adult and child members but must be booked in advance.

Learn Muay Thai at any K-Star Gym
Members can learn with any of our instructors if they want to. Join classes in any or all of our gyms, at no extra cost. There are 3 -4 classes each week at every level and our members can train as often as they want.
Discounts & Half price 1 to 1's
K-Star members get discounts on all K-Star fight night events, as well as discounts on all the equipment and kit we sell, such as shorts t-shirts, gloves etc. All members get 1 to 1 training sessions at 50% off the normal non member price. Big discount on family membership.
Muay Thai Gradings
A students progress is tested every 3 months, assuming they have completed at least 24 classes in that period. Students will need to demonstrate the technique they have learned in both a structured demonstration and in controlled sparring.
Interclub Sparring
K-Star students get an opportunity to test out what they have learned in the ring, in a safe no winner environment by entering in regular K-Star Interclubs. At our interclubs members can be matched against other members from K-Star and other 3rd Party Gyms.
